Vinyl Flooring

Vinyl, also known as cushion floor, has become very fashionable for any room in the home.

More than just for the kitchen or bathroom, it is increasingly used in living rooms, hallways and bedrooms. With the right floor preparation Vis an affordable alternative to Hardwood, Laminate and Tile flooring.

Vinyl has changed in recent years, providing strength and durability. Most Vinyl is now slip resistant and easily cleaned with some having anti-bacterial properties.

Modern methods of manufacturing have produced realistic mosaic, wood and tile effect Vinyl.

Luxury Vinyl Tile

Luxury Vinyl Tiles are also known as LVT. This is a high quality Vinyl that comes as a plank or tile rather than a sheet. Similar to Laminate, it is available in natural wood, herringbone, tile and geometric pattern effects.

Made with a strong PVC wear layer, LVT is suitable for heavy wear areas in either a domestic or commercial environment, ensuring a long lasting investment for years to come.

Originally, LVT was only available as a product bonded to the sub-floor. However, with advances in technology there is now a vast range of click-together, part stick and built in underlay products available to sit on the floor in a similar way to a Laminate flooring.

In a stable climate LVT products can be cut closer to the skirting board, eliminating the need for beading, leaving a clean silicone finish.
