Assistant Manager

  • Salary: Circa £22k - 28k

Assistant Managers should be experienced and driven members of our management team, training to run a store of their own.

Someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, with essential trade experience.

This role will involve but is not limited to:

  • Cover opening and closing of the store
  • Assessing quality and safety within the store.
  • Assisting with staff management
  • Assisting customers with their purchase
  • Organising sub-contractors
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Handling customer calls/emails
  • Keeping a presentable showroom
  • General customer service and stock control duties, including cutting carpet

Key skills & experience

  • Previous in Trade experience
  • A clear knowledge of customer service
  • Experience and confidence in both face to face and telephone customer handling
  • Ability to learn and retain information quickly
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Polite manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team but show individual accountability

Full time, 5 day week including weekends
