Assistant Manager

- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: Circa £22k - 28k
Assistant Managers should be experienced and driven members of our management team, training to run a store of their own.
Someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, with essential trade experience.
This role will involve but is not limited to:
- Cover opening and closing of the store
- Assessing quality and safety within the store.
- Assisting with staff management
- Assisting customers with their purchase
- Organising sub-contractors
- Maintaining stock levels
- Handling customer calls/emails
- Keeping a presentable showroom
- General customer service and stock control duties, including cutting carpet
Key skills & experience
- Previous in Trade experience
- A clear knowledge of customer service
- Experience and confidence in both face to face and telephone customer handling
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly
- Ability to solve problems
- Good interpersonal skills
- Polite manner
- Ability to work as part of a team but show individual accountability
Full time, 5 day week including weekends
